The School-to-Careers program at Swofford offers the following opportunities for students:

Cooperative Education

Co-op provides opportunities for students to gain on-the-job experience related to their program of study. Students usually are eligible for co-op in the third semester with the approval of the instructor, high school principal, parents, and an approved employer. School officials monitor the student's progress on the job, along with the cooperation of the employer.

Shadowing

Shadowing opportunities are available to Swofford students with instructor recommendation. Shadowing duration may last one day to several weeks and will occur with an approved work site/employer.
